New Features and Enhancements
Actions
Nolio ASAP version 3.1 includes an updated set of actions relevant for User Input activities:
- User Input – Choose from Available Options
- User Input – Stop for Manual Operation
- User Input – Ask for Parameter Value
- Run Command Line – Improved by addition of a Time Out parameter
Nolio ASAP version 3.1 also includes additional actions that were added to the IIS7 action pack and to the F5BigIP action pack.
User Input – Choose from Ava ilable Options
The Choose from Available Options action has been modified to enable user selection for single or multiple options.
The action’s designer can now choose whether to enable single or multiple sections of options.
The action’s operator will be able to select a single option or multiple options using the CTRL \or SHIFT keys.
User Input – Stop for Manual Operation
The Stop for Manual Operation action had been modified to improve the display of selection text.
A ToolTip is now available for viewing the full content of the label for the operation phase.
User Input – Ask for Parameter Value
The Ask for Parameter Value action had been modified to enable operators to supply text as the parameter value in a more user-friendly manner.
A large text input field had been added to the execution window of the action, enabling the operator to insert and easily view the value for a specific parameter.
Run Command Line
The Run Command Line action now includes a Time Out Duration parameter enabling the user to define the amount of time, in seconds, to wait for the action to complete. The Time Out Duration functionality is relevant only if the user had selected the Wait For Process To Finish option.
