Gartner Cites Nolio as ITPA Vendor
IT Process Automation (ITPA) tools are becoming increasingly popular in the IT world. These solutions focus on streamlining, optimizing and automating deployment processes in order to maximize efficiency for an organization and its customers. In her latest article ‘Uses if IT Process Automation Tools: The Changing Vendor Landscape’, Gartner analyst Ronni J. Colville cites Nolio’s Application Release Automation as one such solution.
Ms. Colville identifies a three-pronged architecture in ITPA tools. This division consist of:
- Workflow – modeling the application for each environment
- Automation – specific content for thinks like middleware integration
- Integration Framework – adaptors to development-specific products
Application release automation expert Phil Cherry explains that an application deployment tool can accommodate the increasing complexity of applications while decreasing the time needed for deployment. As businesses’ virtualization and cloud utilization increases, application infrastructures become a moving target. Combined with agile operations, automated deployment solutions are becoming increasingly necessary.
Application release automation tools such as Nolio ASAP dramatically reduce the time and cost of deploying and maintaining applications. This translates into accelerated time-to-release, immediate productivity gains and the ability to scale operational tasks without increasing workloads for operational agility. These solutions simplify service operation tasks and mitigate the risk of faulty application change and deployment errors – turning complex, manual operations into reliable, repeatable and error-free processes.
